At Structures Plus we are constantly looking for new ideas on
how to create a better product, and do so more cost efficiently.
Through the years we have designed and incorporated certain
ideas that have since become the local standard in agricultural
buildings.
Design and Detailing
Structures Plus has always stayed on the cutting edge of
technology in the way that they design all of their projects. We
use the latest in 3D technology with state of the art equipment
to ensure the accuracy of all our designs. We believe in total
design integration from conception to finished product.
Beginning in
2002, all of our projects have been designed with 3D software
called Tekla
Structures. This software allows us to model a structural
steel project with all connections included and visually check
for any interferences or errors in design before one piece of
material is cut. We believe this degree of accuracy is vitally
important in bringing to the customer the best product available
in the market today.
Tekla Structures
also integrates virtually seamless with
Fabtrol, our material
management software. Because a projects bill of materials is
created automatically in Tekla Structures and imported directly
into Fabtrol, every part or assembly can be accounted for and
produced without any manual data entry errors. Material can then
be nested against stock or purchasable lengths with a minimal
amount of waste.
