About Us

Structures Plus was founded in 1989 by Leland Fried and Ron Overacker. After the death of Leland Fried in 1997, Ron and Pam Overacker acquired full ownership of Structures Plus. After several years of growth, Structures Plus incorporated in 2003. In June 2004, planning for the future moved us to our new corporate headquarters at 19860 High Way 99 in Tulare CA.

Accomplishments:

Structures Plus has supplied Milkbarns and Freestall buildings for more than 500 dairy facilities, housing over 150,000 cows in the US, including California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, and Nevada.

We have also helped establish the modern dairy industry in Japan by introducing, and providing "Freestall" technology and products to dairymen in Japan. Many of our staff members have traveled to Japan, several times, to understand, and fulfill their unique housing, and management needs. It is very rewarding to have supplied more than 200 freestall and milking facilities across the nation of Japan housing more than 30,000 animals from, Northern Hokkaido, to Southern Okinawa.

One of our greatest accomplishments was realized in June 2004, when we moved into our new corporate headquarters. The 8,000 Square foot office and 50,000 square foot manufacturing factory are strategically located in the heart of Tulare County’s dairy industry. The office features many innovative building concepts, as well as state of the art data and communication equipment. The factory, office, and many of the state of the art CNC machines are linked via a sophisticated data sharing Intranet, allowing our designers, managers, and equipment to communicate through various “Software” tools. By employing the latest equipment and technologies we are able to better serve our clients.

Although most of our products are related to the agricultural industry, we also provide steel products for the commercial building industry. Using the resources that we have at our disposal, we are able to design, and fabricate any conceivable steel structure, from a simple shade building to a skyscraper.
